MORE SENSATIONS AT PEUGEOT AVENUE!
Visitors to the lion brand's flagship, Peugeot Avenue Paris, will get to experience "More Sensations" and meet its most radical lionesses. The PEUGEOT 308 GTi and the PEUGEOT 208 GTi — both by Peugeot Sport — are the stars of this autumn season. Developed by the Peugeot Sport teams, they are accompanied by their illustrious forebear, the 302 Darl’mat, and their virtual sister, the PEUGEOT Vision Gran Turismo.
PEUGEOT's sporting genes have been confirmed by the 800,000 sports models that the brand has sold since the legendary 205 GTi. And the story continues as, following on from the 208 GTi launched in 2013, it is now the 308's turn to bear the iconic GTi logo, with sales starting in the autumn and the vehicle unveiled as a preview at Peugeot Avenue.
The PEUGEOT 308 GTi and the PEUGEOT 208 GTi By Peugeot Sport, displayed with their stunning red and black "Coupe Franche" paintwork, are borne of the knowledge and expertise of Peugeot Sport.
The "More Sensations" event also gives fans of the Gran Turismo PlayStation3 game the opportunity to discover the model for the PEUGEOT Vision Gran Turismo supercar and the incredible performance it offers: power-to-weight ratio of 1 (875 kg for 875 hp) and acceleration of 0 to 100 in 1’’73. Two of the latest-generation simulators will be made available to visitors who will be able to get behind the wheel of this supercar to test their mettle on no less than 40 amazing circuits and 107 configurations.
Alongside these roaring lionesses, at the heart of Peugeot Avenue, their illustrious forebear, the 302 DS (Darl’mat Sport), occupies a privileged place. This roadster is the fruit of a collaboration between PEUGEOT and its Paris dealership Darl’mat. The 302 DS marked PEUGEOT's return to the Le Mans 24 Hour race in 1937, which saw the three cars come 7th, 8th and 10th; a fantastic achievement, particularly since 65% of the teams involved abandoned the race!
The More Sensations exhibition will take place until 8th November 2015.
