Presented on the occasion of the Algiers Motor Show, the new PEUGEOT Partner and Partner Tepee both benefit from changes in styling and technology. The assertive design of the front includes a new grille, similar to the brand’s other models.
Their robustness, new modern and connected equipment, as well as a range of more economical and powerful Euro 6 engines, make the new PEUGEOT Partner and Partner Tepee even more appealing. In their BlueHDi 100 S&S versions, both have record CO2 emissions figures in their segments of just 106 and 109 g/km respectively.
Perfectly in tune with their time, they still do not forget the fundamental reasons for their success: reliability, flexibility and unequalled modularity combined with benchmark loading capacity and a comfortable cabin.

Our objective with the new PEUGEOT Partner and Partner Tepee is clearly to support the PSA Peugeot Citroën Group’s position as leader in the small van and leisure activity vehicle segments in Europe, and to continue their development in overseas market.

Maxime PICAT, PEUGEOT CEO.

The PEUGEOT Partner and Partner Tepee have a new look in 2015. New styling, engines and equipment of the latest generation reinforce their appeal, which had already made them benchmarks in their respective segment. They bring the levels of efficiency and modernity expected by customers.

Assertive design and proven robustness

Greater robustness with a more expressive design

The design of the front of the new PEUGEOT Partner and Partner Tepee, a mark of strength and expressiveness, continues the revision of the LCV range started in 2014 with the new PEUGEOT Boxer.

Laid out between the headlamps with their redesigned outlines, the new grille carries the PEUGEOT Lion at its centre. It dominates the enveloping new bumper with its tight lines, the whole giving the new PEUGEOT Partner and Partner Tepee a more vertical look and greater perceived robustness.

New patches applied to the bumper surface, reinforce the robustness of the front end and offer the advantage of being easily replaceable in the event of scrape or minor impact. They house the front foglamps and the LED daytime running lamps (available according to trim level). The light signature is emphasised by these DRLs, positioned low down at each end of the bumper. This ensemble gives it its solid stance and the effect of an extended vehicle.

Finally, all trim levels of the new PEUGEOT Partner now benefit from the option of a dual exterior personalisation offer through the Look Pack and the Full Look Pack.

As for the new PEUGEOT Partner Tepee, it presents styling that is richer with a painted front bumper from trim level 2, and more robust with a self-coloured black front bumper, more resistant to daily knocks, on the Outdoor trim level.

Qualities and reliability vouched for by customers

The robust look of the new front end is an illustration of the intrinsic qualities of the new PEUGEOT Partner and Partner Tepee, both of which benefit from having been put to the test over nearly 20 years by business users and families since the launch of the first generation.

In our surveys, PEUGEOT Partner Tepee customers welcome its spaciousness, practicality in use and comfort, and express their satisfaction with the quality, robustness and finish of the bodywork and the cabin, as well as the reliability of their vehicle.

As for business customers, as well as appreciating the load space and modularity of the PEUGEOT Partner, they also indicate their satisfaction with the absence of faults, lower running costs and the very good value for money in their working vehicle.

Robustness put to the test

The robustness and reliability of the PEUGEOT Partner and Partner Tepee have also been proven during the development of the vehicle.

More than 6 million kilometres, representative of intensive use in the hands of customers, were covered in the most severe conditions, including:

- Running heavily loaded at high speed;

- A  “torture” body and suspension test bed, reproducing road surfaces with the most difficult and damaging surfaces : cobblestone, potholes, etc.;

- Tests under sunlight at up 85°C and under different climatic conditions, alternating between cold and hot (-18°C to +45°C) in a climatic chamber to test the resistance of components and materials;

- Anti-corrosion and sealing tests with vehicles passing through a ford and subjected to salt water spray.

These tests combined with the experience gained of the vehicles in service with private and business customers over 18 years ensure that the new PEUGEOT Partner and Partner Tepee have a high level of quality.

New Partner Tepee: even greater freedom of action!

An ever more competitive leisure activity segment

In 1996 PEUGEOT created a new category of private cars: that of leisure activity vehicles.

The spaciousness and practicality of this multi-use vehicle, the PEUGEOT Partner Tepee remains the benchmark. With 15.3 % of sales in Europe in 2014, the Partner Tepee maintains its appeal.

Since its launch in 2008, the current generation has maintained its place on the podium, in a segment that is constantly expanding with four times more competitors and the arrival of a more compact category than initially offered.

Sales outside Europe represent nearly 27 % of the total for Partner Tepee, growth of 8% compared to the first full year on sale.

In a world of leisure activity vehicles built around family and practical values, the new PEUGEOT Partner Tepee, while still providing the fundamental requirements, is positioned at the activity end of the spectrum. Its styling changes along with the latest generation useful and efficient technology and engines give users greater freedom of action.

Other than the restyled front end, the new Partner Tepee introduces 2 new colours: Moka Grey and Artense Grey, available alongside Bianca White, Ardent Red, Kyanos Blue, Aluminium Grey, Shark Grey and Nocciola.

New 8-spoke Managua 16 ‘’ alloy wheels, available as an option, accentuate the dynamic character of the new PEUGEOT Partner Tepee.

Inside the vehicle, the handling of colours and the rich materials used contribute towards the modernity of the cabin. A new Onega Grey ambience appears on the dashboard and various interior parts. Cadaska Roux seat trim is added as an alternative to Cadaska Bleu on trim level 2 and a new technical and high quality NeoSpa seat trim is used on trim level 3 and the Outdoor version.

Latest generation technologies

Connected to its time

Already available with a wide range of equipment to ensure safety and help with driving, the new Partner Tepee is updated with useful and efficient technologies.

The comfortable and ergonomic cabin in the new Partner Tepee is equipped with a new telematic system with a large, perfectly integrated 7’’ colour touch screen, in the middle of the dashboard where it is easy reach and to see.

Standard on trim level 3 and available as an option on trim level 2, it gives easy access to the vehicle’s various systems : trip computer, AM/FM radio or digital DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting, on option), Jukebox music files (integral hard disk) or portable devices, hands-free telephone and navigation.

Navigation, available as an option, includes the display of speed limits and traffic information with mapping for Europe.

Connected to its time, the new PEUGEOT Partner Tepee also includes the best of vehicle connectivity: Bluetooth, USB port, auxiliary jack socket and the MirrorScreen function.

With a Mirrorlink®  or Carplay®  compatible smartphone connected, MirrorScreen allows the best of its mobile applications to be duplicated on the vehicle’s large touch screen, so that they can be used in complete safety.

Access to the applications is managed according to the state of the vehicle. When it is moving, the driver can use applications useful for driving, navigation for example, or those providing infotainment, such as internet radio.

The compatible applications developed to date include iCoyote, Parkopedia, Glympse, the Sygic navigation application ...

A steering-mounted control button starts voice recognition transferred from a smartphone connected by Bluetooth (Siri for an iPhone, for example) ; the responses are then heard through the vehicle’s speakers.

Even more driving assistance and safety systems

Active City Brake technology (automatic urban braking when there is a risk of collision, available as an option from trim level 2 before the end of 2015) is a new system that allows an accident to be avoided or the severity of an impact to be reduced if the driver fails to react, in urban conditions at speeds of up to 20 mph (30 km/h).

A short range laser sensor (Lidar :Light Detection and Ranging) fitted at the top of the windscreen detects vehicles travelling in the same direction or stationary. If necessary, it automatically triggers full power braking. In some cases this system will automatically bring the vehicle to a complete stop, so avoiding a collision with the vehicle ahead.

The reversing camera, available as an option from trim level 2, uses the large colour screen and simplifies everyday parking manoeuvres. It allows the driver to see the edges of the vehicle and its trajectory through the use of coloured lines, so making these manoeuvres easy and safe.

In addition to the rear parking sensors already standard on trim level 3, the new PEUGEOT Partner Tepee is now available with front parking sensors to make low speed manoeuvres even safer.

Grip Control, a system that provides enhanced traction, remains a reference in the segment. Patented by the PSA Peugeot Citroën Group, it extends the usability of the PEUGEOT Partner Tepee on roads or tracks with low levels of grip, allowing the vehicle to continue to make progress in a situation where a normal 2-wheel drive vehicle would remain stuck.

Grip Control is combined with a generous ground clearance of 15 cm and Mud & Snow tyres. Versatile and flexible, it adapts to the conditions encountered by acting on the front driving wheels, while leaving the driver in control at all times. At any time the driver can choose to allow the system to use its intelligence in Standard mode, or select the desired mode using the dial on the dashboard centre panel: Snow, Off-road, Sand, ESP Off.

The level of equipment fitted as standard is also expanded on the new PEUGEOT Partner Tepee : speed limiter and cruise control, as well as air conditioning are now available from trim level 2. The Outdoor version offers 3 separate and removable seats in row 2 and lateral airbags in row 1.

A new range of even more efficient engines

The new PEUGEOT Partner Tepee has an entirely new and wide range of latest generation engines that meet the Euro 6 emissions standard.

In total, seven VTi petrol and BlueHDi Diesel engines are available at launch, delivering from 75 to 120 hp.

They provide an answer for all types of use, while having fuel consumption and CO2 emissions that are 15 % lower on average than the engines replaced:

 - 1.6 litre VTi 98 hp, 5-speed manual with  CO2 emissions from 148 g/km, saving 7 g ;

 - 1.6 litre VTi 120 hp, 5-speed manual with  CO2 emissions from 148 g/km, saving 16 g ;

The BlueHDi engines offer optimum driving enjoyment thanks to their improved torque and power, together with the adoption of a 6-speed manual gearbox on the BlueHDi 120 version.

Furthermore, the 1.6 litre BlueHDi 100 S&S version has record CO2 emission in the segment, from 109 g/km.

During the first half of 2016, the recent 3-cylinder 1.2 litre PureTech 110 hp turbo petrol engine combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox should also establish a new record for petrol in the segment.

Always adaptable to the user’s needs and desires

Alone, with the family or among friends, the new PEUGEOT Partner Tepee continues to offer great modularity and remarkable flexibility, adapting to every day needs, as well as for leisure and going away activities.

Available in 5 or 7 separate seat versions, with 3 removable seats in row 2, as well as 3 more removable seats in row 3 in the case of the  7-seat version, the Partner Tepee presents a flat floor and a load volume of between 675 and 3000 litres, among the best in the category.

Loading the boot is facilitated in all conditions due to its large tailgate and its opening rear screen, an exclusive in the segment.

So the Partner Tepee offers a multitude of configurations so that both people and objects can be carried with ease. This is the freedom to take the children and their friends to school or to transport bicycles for a ride with the family, or skis or surfboards for a weekend among friends.

With the Zenith sunroof, this unique fitting in the leisure activity segment, the occupants already feel outdoors. Ingenious, it combines:

 - Great brightness with its 4 dark tinted glass panels ;

 - Improved temperature control for the rear passengers with 3 additional air vents ;

 - 94 litres of additional storage space in the roof. There is an overhead storage bin at the front, storage spaces either side of the centre roof console and at the rear a compartment accessible both from the cabin and the boot. This is in addition to the 90  litres of open and closed storage space already present around the cabin;

 - Also, a modular exterior loading capacity due to its roof bars, which can be secured longitudinally or transversely as required.

New Partner enhances the operation ability of business users

A highly competitive small van segment

In 1996, PEUGEOT revolutionised the small van segment with the Partner and its original one-box body style, entirely designed to meet the growing demand from business users for efficiency and robustness.

A second, then a third generation PEUGEOT Partner continued to develop the definition of a small van, with its spaciousness, comfort and modularity remaining the reference in the segment.

In a segment with 3 more offers, the worldwide annual sales volume of this 3rd generation of the PEUGEOT Partner are continuing to grow. It had almost doubled in 2014 compared to the first full year on sale in 2009. During the same period, its market share outside Europe grew by more than 15 %, reaching 20%.

The reasons for a business user choosing a PEUGEOT Partner are, first of all their experience with the brand and its dealer network and then the aspects of utility, reliability and price.

To meet the needs of business users and enhance their operational ability, the PEUGEOT Partner adds to its benchmark utility and dynamic qualities: modernity, robustness and increased efficiency, as well as lower running costs.

In its styling, other than the new front end, the headlamps with their redesigned outline give the Partner a modern look that is different from the Partner Tepee, thanks to the specific handling of the interior of the headlamps.

Modern technologies to deliver efficiency and functionality

A wide range of engines with fuel consumption figures among the lowest in the market

The new PEUGEOT Partner has wide range of latest generation engines that meet the Euro 6 emissions standard.

In total, six VTi petrol and BlueHDi Diesel engines are available at launch, delivering from 75 to 120 hp. They meet the varying needs of business users, while having fuel consumption and CO2 emissions that are 15 % lower on average than the engines replaced:

 1.6 litre VTi 98 hp, 5-speed manual with  CO2 emissions from 147 g/km*, saving 17 g ;

 1.6 litre BlueHDi 75 hp, 5-speed manual with  CO2 emissions from 110 g/km*, saving 21 g ;

 1.6 litre BlueHDi 100 hp, 5-speed manual with  CO2 emissions from 110 g/km*, saving 22 g ;

 1.6 litre BlueHDi 100 hp S&S, 5-speed manual with  CO2 emissions from 108 g/km*, saving 12g ;

* subject to type approval

The 1.6 litre BlueHDi 100 S&S version has record CO2 emission in the segment from 109 g/km, with both manual and electronic gearbox.

The BlueHDi engines offer optimum driving enjoyment due to their improved torque and power figures, together with the adoption of a 6-speed manual gearbox on the BlueHDi 120 version.

Aligned with the servicing interval for the vehicle, the AdBlue additive is topped up directly next to the fuel filler flap, so this operation is made easy for business users that cover more than 12, 500 miles (20, 000 km) a year.

This range is rounded off with the Partner Electric version with 0g/km of CO2, while delivering 67 hp and having a range of 105 miles (170 km). Its electric drive train and battery now carry an 8-year or 60,000 miles (100, 000 km) warranty.

The 1.6 HDi 75 and 1.6 HDi 90 Euro 5 engines will continue to be available until June 2016.

The best safety and driving assistance systems

To ensure safety, ease driving and preserve the vehicle over time, the new PEUGEOT Partner offers a wide range of modern and technological driving and safety systems.

In addition to the standard safety equipment such as ABS, emergency braking assistance, ESP with traction control, Hill Start Assist and Direct under-inflation detection using a pressure sensor fitted to each wheel, the new PEUGEOT Partner offers Active City Brake (automatic urban braking when there is a risk of collision available as an option from trim level 1 from November 2015).

As well as allowing an accident to be avoided or the seriousness of an impact to be reduced, this system also has a positive effect on the insurance group rating, and therefore running costs, a key factor for business users.

Cruise control and speed limiter are now standard from trim level 2. A fixed limiter function also makes it possible to set 4 limit speeds as desired by the customer.

In addition to the rear parking sensors already standard on trim level 3, the new PEUGEOT Partner offers front parking sensors and a reversing camera, available as options. Manoeuvres are thus made easier and the vehicle better protected.

Grip Control is a system that provides enhanced traction; it remains a reference in the segment and allows the vehicle to continue to make progress on roads or tracks with poor grip. (detailed description on page 5)

Mobile office: functional and connected

The PEUGEOT Partner offers a drivers cab perfectly adapted to business use.

The tall driving position gives optimum vision and ergonomic instruments and controls with a steering wheel adjustable for height and reach – rare in the segment- and the gear lever located on the dashboard. In addition, the 3rd centre passenger seat at the front benefits from a normal level of legroom, unique in the segment, with the ETG6 gearbox and its rotary control knob on the dashboard instead of a gear lever.

Close to 60 litres of storage space is available in the cabin for the use of passengers and the driver. The closed space in front of the steering wheel and the writing table on the back of the folding backrest of the central seat are particularly useful for business users.

The new PEUGEOT Partner is connected to its time, but also to the activities of business users, themselves more and more connected.

It includes the best of vehicle connectivity to meet the demand for these new uses:

 The new telematic system together with a perfectly integrated large 7” colour touch screen, fitted as standard on trim level 3 and an option on trim level 2, with Bluetooth, USB port, auxiliary jack socket, voice recognition and the MirrorScreen function with compatible smartphones  (detailed description on page 4) ;

Navigation, available as an option, displays speed limits and traffic information with mapping for Europe.

On the new Partner, PEUGEOT also offers a connected solution to optimise the management of a company’s fleet:  PEUGEOT Connect Fleet Management.

This service offer is based on the 5 preoccupations of fleet managers: increasing productivity, improving service quality, improving working conditions, making the most of travelling staff and reducing the overall running cost of the vehicles. Three service packs are offered:

 - Pack 1 Fleet management : mileage covered, fuel consumption, residual fuel range, CO2 emissions, mechanical alerts and automated tracking of maintenance operations, tracking the hours of use and of driving ;

 - Pack 2 Fleet management  + Eco-driving : Pack 1 + eco-driving and advice personalised by driver to reduce fuel consumption;

Benchmark load carrying and flexibility

To meet the differing needs of business users, the PEUGEOT Partner offers a wide range of body styles, the choice between : 2 lengths L1 at 4.38 m and L2 at 4,63 m, a crew cab version with a folding bench seat in row and a floor cab for body converters.

The PEUGEOT Partner is characterised by its modularity and load capacity, for which it is a benchmark in its category.

Available in two lengths, it offers load volumes that are among the most generous in the segment.

Its load volume attains 3.3 m3 for an L1 with a load length of 1.80 m and 3.7 m3 for an L2 with a load length of 2.05 m. This load capacity rises to 3.7 m3 for an L1 and a load length of 3 m and to 4.1 m3 for an L2 with a load length of 3.25 m due to the Multiflex seat (description below).

With its benchmark load width of 1.62 m and 1.23 m between wheel arches, the PEUGEOT Partner is capable of accommodating 2 Euro pallets (1.2 m x 0.80 m) in its short L1 version. Its asymmetric side-hinged rear doors with 180° opening make loading particularly easy.

Its payload varies from 625 to 890 kg as an option on L1, and is up to 750 kg on L2, among the best in the category.

With its Multiflex seat, the new PEUGEOT Partner retains the exclusive modularity which has been a feature of the vehicle since its launch. This equipment, unique in the small van segment, copied but never equalled, allows:

 - 3 people to be seated at the front. This practical feature is greatly appreciated by business users, allowing them to carry employees and their tools from one job to another, keeping journeys to a minimum ;

 - A flat floor to be obtained, with a load volume up to 400  litres and a load length greater than 1.20 m, while still retaining the ability to carry 2 people, thanks to the folding outer passenger seat ;

 - Tall loads to be transported thanks to the outer passenger seat cushion which can also be lifted onto the backrest ;

 - A mobile office function due to the writing table included into the back of the central seat backrest ;

 - Additional load space, lockable with a padlock.
