PEUGEOT French market leader at the end of March in France
In the first quarter of 2021, PEUGEOT achieved an excellent performance and is the leading manufacturer in France with a 19.3% share of the passenger car market, up 17% compared to the same period in 2020.
This constant progression is the result of the success of the lion brand's range of vehicles with five PEUGEOT vehicles at the top of their segment and more particularly the brand's bestsellers, the PEUGEOT 2008, 3008 and also the PEUGEOT 208, which remains the best-selling vehicle in France. The electric version of the PEUGEOT 208 continues to be the best-selling electric vehicle in the B segment in France.
The brand with the lion is also the leader in sales to individuals and companies.
In the first quarter of 2021 :
- PEUGEOT has two vehicles in the top five best-selling passenger cars in France:
o The PEUGEOT 208 leads with a market share of 5.9
o The PEUGEOT 2008 retains third place with a market share of 4.7
- Five vehicles are leaders in their segment:
o The PEUGEOT 208 in the B segment with a market share of 5.9
o The PEUGEOT 2008 in the B-SUV segment with a market share of 4.7
o The PEUGOET 3008 in the C-SUV segment with a market share of 3.2
o The PEUGEOT 5008 in the C-SUV 7-seater segment with a market share of 1.4
o The PEUGEOT 508 in the D segment with a market share of 0.5
In a passenger car market that grew by 21.1%, PEUGEOT had a market share of 19.3
In a LCV market that grew by 35.5%, PEUGEOT had a market share of 18.5
In a PC+LCV market up 23.9% PEUGEOT with a market share of 19.1%, the PEUGEOT brand leads the French market
