PEUGEOT and Roland-Garros: a historic partnership
A partner of the French Open for the past 32 years, PEUGEOT is making over two hundred vehicles available to transport players VIPs, officials and the public from 16 May to 5 June 2016.
The only auto maker to offer a complete range of mobility options including vehicles, scooters and bicycles, PEUGEOT is putting its newest models on display in the stadium: the PEUGEOT 108 Top! and 208 Roland-Garros editions, the RG21 electric bicycle and the Django scooter.
This year PEUGEOT has increased its involvement in the world of tennis by becoming a Platinum Partner of the ATP World Tour and by establishing a new digital platform for fans: Drive To Tennis.
PEUGEOT: The Official Vehicle of the French Open for 27 years
Now the Official Vehicle of 30 ATP tournaments worldwide, PEUGEOT has held the distinction since 1989 for the French Open. This year the new PEUGEOT 2008, 308 GTi and Traveller models are joining the PEUGEOT 5008, 508 RXH and Boxer Combi, and 4 Métropolis Roland-Garros scooters to make up the vehicle fleet. Passengers can enjoy on-board Wi-Fi service provided by the Airbox Auto system using the Orange mobile network.
All the drivers have undergone training on eco-driving and the vehicles are washed using a waterless system.
"Road to Roland-Garros" continues to innovate
For the past eight years as part of the "Road to Roland-Garros" programme, PEUGEOT has transported tournament players from their hotels to Porte d’Auteuil, conducting fun and original interviews along the way. This programme is broadcast around the world on most of the networks that show the French Open. Close to 271 million television viewers watched
"Road to Roland-Garros" (#RoadToRG) in 2015 and the videos got nearly 9 million views on YouTube during the two weeks of the tournament.

Special PEUGEOT series for Roland-Garros
In 1989 the brand launched its first vehicles for Roland-Garros with the PEUGEOT 205 and 405 estate cars.
Ever since, all the special Roland-Garros series have featured a visual identity in line with the world of tennis and tournaments: in Europe, Japan, Chile, Uruguay and Argentina with the PEUGEOT 208 Roland-Garros, and in China with the PEUGEOT 2008 and 3008 SUVs.

New for 2016, Peugeot Scooters is introducing two Django prototypes in exclusive Roland-Garros versions: the Icy White prototype is on display at the Porte d’Auteuil and the Coral White version can be viewed at Peugeot Avenue Paris on the Champs-Elysées along with an exhibit on all things tennis. Fans can vote for their favourite colour on the Peugeot Scooters French Facebook page.
The new digital platform: Drive To Tennis
Launched in March, the new #Drive To Tennis digital platform aggregates never-before-seen, premium and innovative content for tennis fans.
Hosted at www.tennis.peugeot.com, #DriveToTennis offers a glimpse inside the lives of the brand's international ambassadors at the tournaments. Fans can also test their skills in the games section and use the social wall where they can interact with their heroes. All this content is posted to the platform's social networks: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.
