PEUGEOT presents the new PEUGEOT 508L PHEV as a world premiere at the Shanghai 2019 Motor Show.


PEUGEOT is pursuing the electrification strategy of its range and is opening a new page in its history in China. After the reveal of the new PEUGEOT 508L at the Guangzhou Motor Show in November 2018 and the reveal of its new signature illustrating its repositioning in China, PEUGEOT presents the new PEUGEOT 508L PHEV in world premiere at the Shanghai Motor Show in 2019.

The 18th Shanghai International Motor Show opens its doors today to the press. From April 18th to 25th, the 990 m² PEUGEOT stand welcomes the Chinese public to Hall 7.2 of the National Exhibition Center.


They will be able to preview the PEUGEOT 508L PHEV: this Plug-in Hybrid version announces a new chapter in the brand's history and its strategy in terms of low-emission vehicles in China.


Chinese visitors will also discover on the stand the youngest PEUGEOT range in its history in China with:

- A complete SUV range with the presentation of the PEUGEOT 4008 and 5008 model year 2019 on the stand.

- A sedan range topped by the new PEUGEOT 508L launched a month ago, which reinvents the D segment and is presented in addition to the PEUGEOT 308 and 408.

The entire PEUGEOT range will fully meet the requirements of the Chinese CN-6 anti-pollution regulations.


PEUGEOT celebrates 208 years of history. The brand is based on a rich heritage of automotive know-how and expertise, embodied in Shanghai by the PEUGEOT 504 Coupe, which celebrates its 50th anniversary.


The new brand signature ("GAN WEI XIN DONG" / Feel your heart beat), illustrates the recent repositioning of the brand in a young, modern, dynamic territory. It is PEUGEOT's ambition to offer Chinese customers a sensory experience of the brand and its products. The monumental lion presented on the stand is moving forward with determination and without aggressiveness, a guarantee of serenity and confidence in the brand's future in China.
